Henry miller saying “One's destination is never a place, but always a new way of seeing things” had always inspired me to travel and visit places, trekking to Triund was one of the most memorable experience ever, we started our journey from Jalandar, Punjab .We took a night bus till kangra and we halted there for a night to take the much needed rest.

On the next day we started heading to our next destination i.e Mcleodganj , first we took a bus till Mcleodganj Bus Stand and from there we took a beautiful walk through mixed forests of deodar, oak, and rhododendron, and we reached a shop where we took all the needed items for the trek on rent like the tents and mats.

From there we started our journey at around 10 am , we had to cross 5-6 mountains to reach the top and as we continued our trek, we came across some of the best views of the mountain ranges and the dense forest, we kept on collecting twigs on our way, so that we could set up bonfire at night, and after much struggle the most awaited moment arrived i.e the view of the mountains top it was like feasting our eyes as we witnessed the beauty of the whole region from the top.

We were a group of 7 people, we lighted the fire, had food, chit chat, sang songs and most importantly slept beneath the blanket of a starry sky and we made sure every stars in the inky blue sky were admired. Trekking to Triund for sure will be one of the most memorable trekking expeditions.
